Here’s what you know…. “waiting around” with the rest of the appraisal world is not going to change this bullshit any faster and chances are you’ll be out of business before a meaningful government change occurs.

 

You also know there is a “Residual Income Theory”. Simply stated, if you as an appraiser, had an extra $3K a month residual “guaranteed” the bet is you’d only be taking the more lucrative appraisal assignments. If you help half the appraisers in your county to do the same, the effect is appraiser scarcity. Creating appraiser scarcity has to result in higher fees (simple supply and demand).
