Health and Wealth

If you’re suffering with one or both of these it makes for a challenging way to live and difficult to stay positive.

Your Health: In his book, The Wellness Revolution – Paul Zane Pilzer presents an absolutely fascinating look at a world changing trillion dollar industry. The overriding theme is a shift from what he calls the “Sickness Industry” (your doctor)… and…. the “The Wellness Industry”, which is the concentration on finding ways to feel and look better as we age before we get sick or need a doctor. This is universal. Fueled in large part by the baby boomer group (there are millions of us). He points out there are lots of ways to “tap” this burgeoning arena with an emphasis on direct sales (multi-level marketing). The point is, more than ever before, there are millions and millions of people actively looking for better diets, exercise programs, yoga, weight loss, nutrition, supplements, body wraps, hair loss, botox, teeth whiteners, nip and tuck etc, whatever will help keep them feeling and looking younger and help keep them from having to go to the doctor.

Your Wealth: Trading time for money is the worst way to earn money because it requires you to constantly be doing your job. When you stop, the cash flow stops too. Here is an interesting definition of wealth……..

Wealth: “Residual income equal to or greater than your current monthly expenses.” (If you're not familiar with that you might want to read it again). If you plan to retire, by definition this must be achieved. If you succeed before your sixty five it’s called “independently wealthy”.

Unless you’re investing a portion of your appraisal income you will never achieve the definition above.

“Millions of Americans are searching for more … time with family … extra income … freedom from debt … an overall balanced and healthy lifestyle.”

The appraisal industry regulations and my current path as an appraiser has made it impossible to retire.

Somthing has to change!!
